Once my 5 year old granddaughter found out Glass Gem corn existed, I had to grow it. We sowed these SeedsAfric seeds in my back yard garden in May, and fertilized with nitrogen, phosphorous, and bonemeal when called for. I ended up with twenty 7’ stalks, that my grand and I just harvested (last week of September, 23) in Ohio. We got 29 beautiful ears of varying color and size, and maybe 6 puny cobs with few or no kernels. And I’m a first time grower of corn! We couldn’t be happier with our crop, and my grandbaby thinks I’m a legit farmer, lol.
